The annual AGM of the Maher Community Association UK will be held on Sunday 3rd December 2017 at Maher Centre, Leicester. This is an opportunity for community members to come and meet the team and provide your feedback, ask any questions or/and raise any issues/ concerns you may have. If you can email or message your questions/ concerns to Mr Vimaljibhai Odedra (President) prior to the meeting that would be much helpful, all questions will be taken after below agenda is completed.

The Peterborough Maher Committee would like to invite you and your family to the annual Peterborough Maher Gathering to celebrate Diwali and the New Year:
Date: SATURDAY, 14th OCTOBER 2017
Time: 6.00pm until VERY Late
Venue/Place: THE CRESSET CENTRE, Rightwell, Bretton, PETERBOROUGH, PE3 8DX. (PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE!)
Group: Local Artists/DJ
Membership Fee: £15 per family, payable on the day please
Fancy Dress/Best Dress competition for Children Under 12!!!!
EVERYONE IS KINDLY REQUESTED TO WEAR TRADITIONAL MAHER CLOTHES!!
As usual, this event gives everyone a chance to meet, mingle, socialise and say ‘Sal Mubarak’. We have planned a fun evening of entertainment which will include Live Music/DJ, Garba, Bhangra, Raffle and a delicious Buffet meal. The Cresset Centre also have a bar where you can purchase your own drinks.
This year we have booked the Cresset Centre to cater for our growing & increasingly popular event so all your generous donations will be greatly appreciated to cover the increased cost. If you would like to contribute towards the cost of hall hire, food, raffle prizes, etc. then please contact a Committee Member before or at the event.
WE WISH YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY NAVRATRI, DIWALI AND A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR IN ADVANCE AND LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU & ALL YOUR FAMILY ON 14th October 2017.
This is a once-a-year opportunity for our Peterborough Maher Parivar to get together & catch up with friends/family so we strongly urge every member of the Peterborough Maher Samaj, young and old, to join us in these celebrations.
Last years’ event was a great success and we need your support to make this event even bigger and better! Please come on time so we can start early & make the most of the evening.
