Maher Stars captain Pratap Odedra could not hide his delight after guiding his side to the Spearing Waite Solicitors Premier Division title.

The Rushey Mead-based outfit secured the championship crown after overcoming YMA by eight-wickets on Saturday.
“It’s nice that all the hard work behind the scenes has finally paid off,” said Odedra.
“I wouldn’t say we have played particularly well all season but we did what was required of us when it mattered most.”
Odedra led from the front as his figures of 4-16 helped dismiss YMA for just 112 all out.
Bhargav Modha (27), Rahul Avtar (30) and Vishal Tawde (31) then all chipped in as the front-runners comfortably reached 113-2 to spark the celebrations.
