Diwali Sneh Milan Leicester 2013

25th October 2013

Diwali Gathering/Bestu-Varsh Sneh Milan
Dearest Gnati Brothers and Sisters
We hope you are all in good health and this letter of invitation finds you well. Our calendar year is nearing to an end and of course this means it is time for celebration.
You are all cordially invited to attend this year’s Diwali and Sneh-Milan programme which takes place on Sunday 10th November 2013 from 4.30pm onwards for a prompt 5pm start. Join us, as we celebrate the achievements of the past 12 months and, then welcome the New Year Vikram-Savant 2070.
We all lead busy hectic lives and Diwali Sneh Milan is one of the few opportunities within which to reach out and connect with our fellow community members. Please therefore come and show your support to the people (including youngsters) who have been involved in the organisation of this event.
This year’s programme contains performances from our youngest community members including short plays from Ramayan and Mahabharat. The lineup will also include performances from past favourites and stars from our community.
As always, there will be plenty of time for everyone to catch up with friends and family during the evening which will include a buffet dinner. We will then be heralding in the New Year with a firework display at 9.00pm. We request your early attendance to assist a timely procession of the evening’s programme.
Sponsors & Donations
We would like to convey a big thank you to all the sponsors who supported our community during the past year and particularly during Navratri. Above all, our gratitude goes to all of you community members who continue to donate every year, even during these testing economic times. A list of all donors shall be made available during Sneh Milan.
Positive Contributions
We reserve special praise to all the people who work tirelessly to organise all our events throughout the year including, of course, the ever popular Navratri celebrations. The contributions, acts of assistance and help make our events happen and we are a culturally richer community as a result.
Finally, our congratulations and best wishes go to all the members who act as ambassadors of our community through a range of endeavours be it cultural, professional or charitable work. We are proud of your work and long may you succeed in furthering our community’s name.
We very much look forward to meeting you all at Diwali celebrations.
