We hope this letter finds you in good health and spirit. Following some very successful events, we are pleased to inform you of Navratri arrangements. Please find details:
Key Event Dates
Navratri Tuesday 9th October – Wednesday 17th October 2018
Diwali Gathering and Sneh Milan Sunday 11th November 2018 from 6pm onwards
Children’s Christmas Party Sunday 16th December2018 from 3pm onwards
Navratri 2018: Tuesday 9 th October – Wednesday 17 th October
Singers: Various Popular Folklore Artists
Timescales: 7pm to 12am prompt – Garba for ladies will begin at 7.30pm
Agenda: Arti, Garba, Dandia-Raas, 3-Tadi, Heech, Ranjanyu, Sanedo
Fancy Dress: Friday 12th October @ 8pm promptly
Competition is open to boys and girls 14 years of age and under. We request participants to be in proper costumes. Judges will be looking for unique concepts and effort.
Arti Plate Design: Friday 12th October @ 8pm promptly
Competition is open to children and adults. We would like to request our elders to encourage children to take part in decorating an Arti plate.
Traditional Dress Code: Saturday 13th October
Please wear our traditional Maher clothes on this evening. Ladies will have an opportunity to perform a customary Raasado and the Gents can perform a Maniyaro Raas to the dhol.
Mataji ni Sthapna and Puja Ceremony
There will be a Sthapna ceremony taking place on the first day of Navratri. Should you or any family members wish to take part, please contact the centre leaving your name and number and we will provide you with more information.
Diwali: Sneh Milan Sunday 11th November 2018 6pm onwards.
We will be hosting a social evening gathering with music and a buffet dinner. Further information of this even will be made available during Navratri and updated on www.maheronline.org
Children’s Christmas Party: Sunday 16 th December 2018 3pm onwards.
Open to children under the age of 16. Please come along to celebrate the festive season. There will be plenty of food and drinks, music, games, and activities for all to enjoy.
Entry to Navratri
We are pleased to announce that entry to Navratri will be free this year. Please do keep a hold of your previously organised ID cards as a record for future use.
Sponsorship
There are many local businesses that are supporting this year’s Navratri. Should you wish to sponsor any of the events and include information about your business, trade or service then please contact the centre leaving your name and number and we will get back to you.
Security and Parking
For your own safety, please be advised to follow instructions carefully in the car park. Children should be supervised at all times. The security staff will not hesitate to remove anyone from the premises causing trouble, under the influence of alcohol or any intoxicating substances. Please be respectful of the fact that this is a religious celebration.

અમે આશા રાખીએ છીએ કે તમે બધા મજામા હછો, ઘણા સફળ કાર્યક્રમો પછી, અમને જણાવતાં આનંદ થાય છે કે આ વર્ષનો
નવરાત્રી કાર્યક્રમ નીચે પ્રમાણે ગોઠવેલો છે.
નવરાત્રી………………………તારીખ ૯ ઓકટોબર થી ૧૭ ઓકટોબર સુધી રાખેલ છે.
દિવાળી અને સ્નેહ મિલન…રવિવાર તારીખ ૧૧ નવેમ્બર ના સાંજે ૬ વાગ્યેથી રાખેલ છે.
બાળકોની ક્રિસમસ પાર્ટી….રવિવાર તારીખ ૧૬ ડીસેમબર ના રોજ ૩ વાગ્યેથી રાખેલ છે.
આપને બધાને વિનંતી કે તમે બધા સગાં સબંધી સાથે જરૂર આવશો. કાર્યક્રમની વધારે માહિતી મહેર ઓન લાઈન ઉપરથી
મળશે.
નવરાત્રી ૨૦૧૮ : મંગળવાર તારીખ ૯ થી બુધવાર તારીખ ૧૭ ઓકટોબર
કલાકારો : જુદા જુદા પ્રખ્યાત લોક ગાયક
સમય : સાંજે ૭ વાગ્યેથી રાત્રીના ૧૨ વાગ્યા સુધી.
ફેન્સી ડ્રેસ : શુક્રવાર તારીખ ૧૨ ઓકટોબર ના સાંજે ૮ વાગ્યેથી
આ હરીફાઈ ૧૪ વર્ષ થી નીચેની ઉમરના છોકરા અંને છોકરીઓ માટે રાખવામાં આવેલ છે. ભાગ લેનાર બધાને અમારી વિનંતી
કે બરાબર તૈયાર થઈ ને આવે. નિર્ણાયકો તમારી વેશ ભૂષા અને
તમે કેટલી મહેનત કરેલ છે તેની ઉપર ધ્યાન આપ છે.
આરતીની થાળી : શુક્રવાર તારીખ ૧૨ ઓકટોબર ના રોજ ૮ વાગ્યેથી
આ હરીફાઈ બાળકો તથા મોટી ઉમરના માણસો માટે રાખવામાં આવેલ છે. અમે આશા રાખીએ છીએ કે વડીલો બાળકોને
પ્રોત્સાહન આપશે.
ટ્રેડીશનલ : તારીખ ૧૩ ઓકટોબર શનિવારના રોજ રાખેલ છે.
ફરીથી અમારી વિનંતી કે બધા આપણો ટ્રેડીશનલ પહેરવેશ પહેરીને આવે. બહેનોને આપણો રાસડો અને ભાઈઓને મણિયારો
રાસ રમવાની તક મળશે.
માતાજીની સ્થાપના અને પૂજાની વિધિ:
કોઈ પણ ભાઈઓ તથા બહેનોને માતાજીની સ્થાપના અને પૂજામાં ભાગ લેવો હોય તો સેન્ટર ઉપર ફોન કરીને તમારું નામ અને
ફોન નંબર રાખવા વિનંતી. અમે તમને ફોન કરીને વધારે માહિતી આપશું.
દિવાળી તથા બેસતા વર્ષનું સ્નેહ મિલન તારીખ ૧૧ નવેમ્બર ૨૦૧૮ ના રોજ સાંજે ૬ વાગ્યેથી.
સ્નેહ મિલન ના કાર્યક્રમમાં સંગીત અને સાંજનું જમવાનું રાખવામાં આવેલ છે જેની વધારે માહિતી નવરાત્રી દરમ્યાન
આપવામાં આવશે.
બાળકોની નાતાલની પાર્ટી રવિવાર તારીખ ૧૬ ડીસેમ્બર ના રોજ 3 વાગ્યેથી રાખવામાં આવેલ છે.
આ કાર્યક્રમ ૧૬ વર્ષ અને તેનાથી નીચેની ઉમરના બાળકો માટે રાખવામાં આવેલ છે. આ કાર્યક્રમમાં બાળકો માટે ઘણી બધી
રમત ગમત તથા જમવાનું અને સંગીત રાખવામાં આવેલ છે.
નવરાત્રી પાસ :
આ વર્ષે નવરાત્રી માં કોઈ પણ જાતની ટિકિટ રાખવામાં આવેલ નથી. પરંતુ તમને બધાને વિનંતી કે તમારા ફોટા વાળા કાર્ડ તમારી
સાથે રાખવા વિનંતી. તમારું ફોટા વાળું કાર્ડ તમારી સાથે રાખવું જરૂરી છે.
કોઈ પણ ભાઈઓ અથવા બહેનોને નવરાત્રી કાર્યક્રમ સ્પોન્સર કરવો હોય અથવા સ્ક્રીન ઉપર જાહેરાત આપવી હોય તો સેન્ટર
ઉપર ફોન કરવા વિનંતી.
લેસ્ટર મહેર કોમ્યુનીટી એસોસીએશન
