DESCRIPTION:The 2018 Maher Samelan will be taking place in fabulous Las Vegas from Saturday December 22nd to Wednesday December 26th so we can celebrate Christmas in Las Vegas.\nWe have been working diligently to build an exciting and impactful schedule that presents exciting opportunities for our community members of all ages. In particular\, we are building a schedule that allows for numerous opportunities for community building for young and old alike.\nSaturday\, December 22\, 2018 \nRegistration for the Samelan followed by a meet and greet with opportunities to enjoy Las Vegas in evening.\nSunday\, December 23\, 2018\nFormally kick off the 2018 Maher Samelan with breakfast\, followed by discussions. Lunch will be served continued with an afternoon of discussions for the youth including careers and education\, along with activities followed by dinner.\nMonday\, December 24\, 2018 \nThis day is split into two with golf early in the am for our golfers participating in the inaugural NAMC Maher Tournament. For those of our guests not playing golf\, enjoy a lazy morning with breakfast before you are transported to a sports complex and park to meet up with our golfers to for the Samelan Sports Day and BBQ. After finishing off the afternoon playing sports & eating great food with a free evening in Las Vegas.\nTuesday\, December 25\, 2018 \nEnjoy Christmas with breakfast and lunch continuing with an afternoon of entertainment\, cultural activities including garba and dandia followed by a Christmas Dinner & Dance party with a DJ and formal photos All of this is planned at the Westin Las Vegas Hotel & Spa. We would like to request our elders to encourage children to take part in decorating an Arti plate.\nTraditional Dress Code: Saturday 13th October\nPlease wear our traditional Maher clothes on this evening.
